Refusing to Think about It

I want to build you a craft and fly away.

For there are so many stars and

there is so much to say

I want to build you a yacht and sail away

there are so many turtles,

we can float away.

I want to build you a thought machine

and ride with you

between ideas that hide

within and

with you

gazing on the moonlit tide

on thoughts that glide

mercilessly away

swirling and spinning,

glibly forgiving

the heavy anvil of critical thinking

for there is so much to say.
